Founder, Sees Consulting
As founder of Sees Consulting, my passion is helping small to medium sized business owners follow their goals and dreams by assisting them in understanding complicated employment laws and critical areas of compliance as they grow a thriving and profitable business.
As businesses grow, their human resources responsibilities increase. Many business owners are not prepared to take on dozens of employees and the responsibilities that accompany a larger workforce. Sees HR Consulting was developed to bridge the gap and ease the growing pains that small companies experience in becoming a mid-sized business.
I consider myself a Texan. Being raised as a military brat, I traveled regularly until I was 11, when my family moved to Fort Hood, Texas. My father retired from the U.S. Army during my senior year in high school, and my family remains in the area.
I began my career as a Substance Abuse Counselor after earning an Associates degree in Applied Science from Central Texas College. After studying to become a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, I worked at a female prison unit with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. While working at the prison, I continued my education at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I later went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Human Resources Management from Tarleton State University and am a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Recently I became certified through the Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
With 20 years of experience, I’ve held a wide range of HR positions with increasing levels of responsibilities across a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, construction and healthcare.
As a life-long servant leader in the United States Army and Team member at Sees Consulting, my passion is facilitating leadership development and transformational followership across all layers of a business owner’s employee structure.
Whether a business owner considers his or her business to be small, medium or large, efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability are directly proportional to the leadership’s developmental efforts across the entire leader – led spectrum within the organization.
With experiences ranging from small teams in high-performance / high-stress environments to large strategically focused organizations, I aim to facilitate leadership growth within the Sees Consulting organizational development framework.
I am from Pennsylvania but got to Texas as soon as I could! Following undergraduate studies in Mathematics, I earned an aviation officer commission in the United States Army, where I served in leadership and academic positions over a 26-year career on active duty.

Chip Wilson is a visionary who has an overwhelming passion for helping others develop their entrepreneurial spirit. With extensive knowledge of the training and development industry, Chip regularly has the opportunity to share his skills and successes with others.
After college, Chip began his business career under the umbrella of a Fortune 500 company. Unfortunately for them, Chip wanted the challenge of an entrepreneurial lifestyle. So, at the age of 26, he started his first training and consulting business in his hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. After two successful years, Chip sold that company for a substantial profit.
He then became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a consulting company in Waco, Texas where he was responsible for over 700 accounts nationwide. In his time there, Chip contributed greatly to the company’s bottom line, but desired a career that was more personally and professionally rewarding.
